Are You Able to Embrace Failure as Feedback? It's The Key to Unlocking Your Success!
What if this lovely re-frame was the secret to success?
That "F" word is one I rarely use, there are so many more fun ones to use instead, wouldn't you agree?
I actually kind of "dig" that redirection process, because I don’t see it as the end of the road, but as one of the most valuable teachers on the path to success.
Too many women, especially those of us navigating life between 30 and 60, have been taught to fear failure. Society has misled us into believing that failure equals defeat, weakness, or unworthiness. But let me tell you, that’s just fancy bamboozling. As a former marathon runner, continuing entrepreneur, world traveler, and mindset coach, I’ve failed—over and over again. But with every failure, I’ve learned, grown, and built the resilience that has made my success possible. It was actually a pretty amusing process, for the most part, which I would also call a success. And, I really want you to do the same.
Failure Is Not the End, It’s the Beginning
We’ve all heard the phrase “Failure is a stepping stone to success.” It’s often said, but rarely understood. (continued)
Hey Angel-ina, Want to Know How to Get Unstuck and Reinvent Yourself at Any Age?
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward—you’re most certainly not alone. Many women, especially those of us navigating the complex journey of life between 30 and 60, find themselves at a crossroads. And it's a normal feeling, and that "stuckness" is more often than not, the signal that you’re ready for reinvention. (exciting, isn't it?)
As someone who has spent 25+ years in fashion, business, and self-development, I’ve walked through my own personal transformations and guided many others to do the same. Reinvention is not just possible; it’s absolutely necessary for growth at any age.
Some of us seek it out, and others of us are thrown into it by life's circumstances, kind of like a mother calling the shots and setting up the school of life for you. It doesn't matter how you get there, the great news is that you have arrived.
In fact, reinvention is a pretty slick key to unlocking your next level of success and happiness.
Wear Your Crown: Transform Your Mindset and Elevate Your Life
As a woman who has lived and traveled across the globe—from the vibrant streets of Paris to the tropical islands of Guam, and everywhere in between—I’ve had the privilege of experiencing life through many lenses. I’ve also had the honor of coaching women from all walks of life, guiding them through the powerful journey of transformation. And the one thing that has become clear, is that : your crown is not just a symbol of external success, it’s an internal shift that comes from upgrading the way you think.
I’ve spent decades refining my own mindset and personal style, working in fashion, business, and self-development. My journey has led me through spiritual exploration, endurance sport training, and entrepreneurship, and these experiences have taught me the true essence of wearing your crown. It’s about freeing your mind, embracing your greatness, and showing up as the empowered human we are born to be, with "warts and all".
Here are a few key points I hope you will consider.
The Right Way to Make Lists—And How They Can Change Your Life.
Some people live by their lists. Others (like me) have spent years avoiding them. I always felt like lists never ended, just a constant scroll of unfinished tasks weighing on my mind. They felt rigid, stressful, and, if I’m being honest, a little discouraging.
But then I learned something powerful: Lists aren’t the problem.
The way we use them is.
When I was younger, some friends encouraged me to make a "pros and cons" list about someone I was dating. It seemed like a fun, logical way to clarify my feelings. Until he found it. What once seemed like small, trivial notes suddenly looked like a harsh judgment. That list—so unnecessary, so destructive—changed everything.
The relationship ended soon after, and an aversion to lists started. But not immediately, my list making evolved into the absurd. My lists became " novel-esque", a never ending, and never attainable finish line in sight.
It caused me great stress, and became a reason for me to say "no" to life's pleasures and invitations. I eventually burned out, and took a break from the nasty habit.
This was my very first podcast interview that I did for a short episode of Meet the Elite in July 2023.
I’ve come a long way, and love listening to this as a reminder of the path.
